MyFirstWebsite hosts hundreds of thousands of websites made by our members. We don't review sites before they're published, so we rely on reports from people like you to tell us when something breaks our Community Guidelines.
In an emergency
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local police or call 911 first. We can't respond to emergencies.
What you can report
- Threats, harassment or bullying
- Someone's private information shared without permission (home address, phone number, financial information)
- A site pretending to be you or another person or organization
- Hateful content
- Spam, viruses or phishing ("fake log-in") pages
- Adult content on a site that isn't marked as adult
- Copyright infringement (please include the original work's address)
What we can't help with
We can't remove a site or comment just because you disagree with it, or because it says something unflattering about you, unless it breaks our Guidelines. We also can't tell you who made a site; we only share member information when the law requires it. Disputes between members and the people they write about are best settled directly, or with the help of a lawyer.
What happens next
A member of our Trust & Safety team reviews every report, usually within 3 business days. If a site breaks our rules, we may remove the content, suspend the site or close the account. To protect everyone's privacy, we don't send updates about the outcome of a report.
